Step 1: Fill a bowl with warm water, dissolve 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and soak the collar for 15 minutes.
Step 2: After soaking the collar, rinse the Harness to remove excess dirt before scrubbing.
Step 3: Scrub the harness with a brush.
Step 4: After scrubbing the harness, rinse thoroughly in clean warm water.
Step 5: Dry harness with a towel, making sure any metal hardware is completely dry.
Step 6: Allow the collar to dry overnight or until it is dry to the touch.

Taking my dog to the beach with her new harness was such a fun experience. She was excited the moment we arrived and immediately wanted to explore everything around her. The new harness made it much easier to keep her close while still letting her enjoy the sand and water. She had a great time running around, sniffing the beach, and playing in the waves. Even though she ended up getting a little sand in her eye, she was still happy and enjoyed the adventure. It was a great day together, and seeing how excited she was made the trip completely worth it.
Love these harnesses. I have tried many and it was all money wasted. These are truly a no pull harness. My boy Chester the AM Staffy x was awful to walk, with this harness and lead I was able to pull him up and has walked beside me since. ( I mean I do have to pull him up at the beginning of every walk but only once now) as for my girl Luna she always wants to walk ahead, she too has improved.

Got a medium for my 65 lbs Rottie, Pittie, German Shepherd, Boxer mix. She is only a year and still pulls sometimes even after obedience training. After using the harness she stopped pulling so much. She loves going on her walks and this is her go to.

I’ve been searching for quite some time to find a true “no-pull” harness that could fit my dog correctly. I have an American Pitbull Terrier, so it was difficult to find a harness that fit him well while also being reliable and sturdy; I am so glad to have found the Summit Hound Harness as it has checked all of the boxes! I couldn’t take NALA my 90 pound euro boxer for a walk without her walking me until I got this harness & leash combo. What a game changer….. we are not only walking every morning but enjoying our walks as well - don’t hesitate on getting this - you’ll be so happy that you did - the quality of this harness & leash is insane - they thought of EVERYTHING- there is a area on both left and right side of harness that leash guides thru to give you control on keeping your dog on either your left or right side during walk! Also leash has two handles 1 down low for tight control to keep dog close and one handle at end of leash…. The lower handle is so important to grab in emergency situation- especially if your walking a very big strong dog-

My favorite harness I’ve ever purchased. We’ve used it for a couple days now with our
8 month old 70lbs pitbull puppy. She doesn’t have the best leash manners at times. This has really helped make walker her a more enjoyable experience for all of us. We are able to put the focus back onto training and she seems comfortable. No marks of chaffing. No pulling (well maybe alittle pulling) but vastly improved overall. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a bully breed.
Friends, what took me so long? My six year old pit is a pretty extreme puller. I've used a gentle leader for a few years, which helped but she hated it, rolling in the grass to try and get it off. Walking her without it, was hellish and getting yanked around made walks seriously unpleasant (and in some circumstances, dangerous). She adjusted to this harness after the first wear and I'm honestly floored at what a game changer it's been. I haven't even used the front clip yet because even the back clip has made such a huge difference. I'm not dreading our walks anymore - thank you Summit Hound!
We LOVE the harness! The hardware is sturdy, easy to use and looks like it will hang with the big dogs for years and years! Material is thick and durable, but breathable, as well as comfy to the skin. Love the bright pink color option for the girls!
I took my 90 pound Euro Boxer for a walk this morning to try out her new Harness - Not once did she pull me or choke herself….. the harness stayed in place the entire time - the leash has a handle at end of leash and ALSO another handle down low to grab when you need to keep your dog close to you!!!! This is a very well built harness that fits these blocky big chested dogs nicely! Seems way more comfy than the others I’ve had. Love that it has rings on top and Front with nice padding for wearing with his seatbelt. He took to walking with it without pulling right away. Nice product!
I purchased this harness (Med) and clip lead to use at our local animal shelter - Hitchcock Road Animal Services, 160 Hitchcock Road, Salinas CA 93901.
I am a volunteer there for dog walking and adoption support and we do get many large breed dogs in (bully lover here) that may not have leash/harness experience and/or that are pretty strong. This is a way for me to comfortably walk them and feel secure at the same time, (for reference I am 4'11" and 98 lbs). It can be used by any of the dog walkers or staff at the shelter.
I use other harnesses also but this is for my big boys and girls and I am extremely pleased with the quality and ease of use.
We may have to get the large size for another of our shelter dogs, Fozzie Bear, as he is a chunk and the medium was pretty snug :).

Purchased the No pull harness, matching leash and the collar. I absolutely love all three items as they function as described for my 65lbs Boxerbully.
Leash: Durability, Length, hardware and materials are quality. Feels nice on my delicate hands. Flexibility is slightly stiff and will take getting used to for walking on a loose leash. Also the carries a slight bit of weight due to the hardware. But overall still comfortable.
Harness: hardware, D-ring placement and materials are nice & sturdy. Fits his body well. Drawback is that the hardware makes the harness heavy. We conducted a casual walk and my dog was noticeably tired even before we reached the 1/2 way mark. Tried using it the very next morning and he didn’t want to wear it. Pro- he gets a bit more exercise in and tires himself out for a while. Con- this limits our walks and him over exerting himself. Now, the front D-ring actually worked. Rerouted my dog back to me after trying to greet another dog without permission twice. Works well, it’s just slightly heavy and I can’t see us using it on a daily basis especially on hikes and in hotter climate areas that get up to 110 degrees in weather.
Collar: the collar size fits well. It does take up a bit more room when couples with his E-collar. Again the hardware is sturdy but heavy. Which adds to his carry weight on walks. Color, and fit are nice. I can appreciate the emergency handle attached. This will prevent him from being grabbed by the scruff when he he overly excited to meet others. Drawbacks: the name embroidery isn’t as advertised. The font doesn’t span the height of the collar as shown on reviews or description. Not a big deal but I was expecting and would have liked the larger font versus what we revived. Not a dealbreaker and has nothing to with the function.
Overall, I can find a use for all three items, maybe not on a daily basis and not at the same time (to heavy) but nonetheless, useful. If it can assist in adding extra confidence and protection to our lives, it’s a win. Glad I found the company and am able to support and hope we have longevity of use.

Love this harness! I was so excited when it arrived, we went straight to the mailbox! I let him open the box outside, put it on immediately, and on our walk we went. I saw instant improvement! We've gone on 2hr walks everyday since. Will be buying the collar and leash ♡¿♡ ...only flaw is, it rubs against his shoulder, but I'll try the additional loop(s) as seen in other photos.

I have a five year old pitbull and have tried every harness and unfortunately even prong collars and nothing could stop her pulling. I can genuinely say this harness is the first product that has allowed me to walk my pitbull without fear of uncontrollable pulling. My only wish is that the large metal buckles are put further back as the buckles seem cause irritation when they rub against her very sensitive skin. Definitely pleased with this purchase overall!
