Return Policy
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
Contact us to initiate a refund process. Refunds are applicable if:
- Your item arrives damaged.
- You receive the wrong item.
- Your item doesn't arrive after 60 days.
- Major Imperfections and product malfunctions
- Wrong items or quantities received.
At Summit Hound, we are dedicated to delivering meticulously crafted and personalized products to meet the unique preferences of our customers. Due to the custom nature of our offerings, we regret to inform you that refunds will not be accepted, particularly for minor design variations.
While we strive for perfection in every detail, it's important to note that minor variations may occur in the design process. We appreciate your understanding that these variations, considered within industry standards, do not qualify for a refund.
If you encounter any concerns regarding the overall quality or major discrepancies in customization, our customer service team is ready to assist you in finding a suitable solution.
If your item arrives damaged please notify us within 3 days of receiving your package. After 3 days we will not be able to confirm damages were made by our team.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund hasn't appeared, check your bank account, contact your credit card company, and then your bank. If after all this, the refund hasn't been posted, email us at support@summithound.com
Exchanges
If your dog doesn't like their gear, or if they’d like a different size/color, we have a 30 day return & exchange policy. (FOR NON PERSONALIZED ITEMS) Please read the guidelines below, and then click "start an exchange or return"!
- Return shipping charges are paid by the customer.
- Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of order delivery.
- All returned items must be in NEW condition. All fur needs to be removed in order to receive a full refund.
- Dirty, furry, or damaged returns are not eligible for refund. They will be shipped back to you at your expense OR will be donated to a local shelter if not reclaimed within 30 days.
- If you’d like to make a return as a result of our error or a defective product, please email us at Support@thesummithound.com and we’ll get you sorted!
- It can take up to 10 days for us to open your return package and inspect the items inside. When the items are deemed to be in new condition, we’ll ship your exchange or issue a refund, and we’ll email you to let you know.
- Once we issue a refund to your credit card company or bank, there could be additional delays in receiving the credit to your account due to your bank’s policies and processes. Please contact your payment provider to find out their timeline for crediting accounts.
Cancellations
Changes to orders, like incorrect variant or adjustments in quantity, can be emailed to support@summithound.com. You will have up too 24hrs to cancel your or before we begin to start embroidery process.
Decreasing item quantities is seen as a partial cancellation. Adjustments leading to a decrease in the order value will be treated as partial cancellations, allowable only for specific reasons.

Our refund and cancellation terms aim to be fair. They don't infringe upon your statutory rights to a refund within the 14-day cooling period.
