Our Bully Proof Gear is built to last—crafted with premium materials to handle the strength and energy of powerful breeds. While we stand by the durability of our products, our Bully Proof Gear Assurance Plan provides an added layer of peace of mind for our customers.

By purchasing the Bully Proof Gear Assurance Plan, you agree to the following terms:


1. What’s Covered

This plan covers your entire order for 12 months from the date of purchase, against damage that occurs during normal use, including:

  • Hardware Malfunctions – Metal buckles, clips, or rings that break under normal use.

  • Material Tears – Leash, harness, or collar fabric that rips or frays as a result of regular wear.


2. What’s Not Covered

This plan does not cover damage caused by:

  • Chewing or Biting – Any damage caused by your dog or another animal chewing, biting, or tearing the product.

  • Neglect or Misuse – Including but not limited to improper use, exposure to extreme conditions, or using the gear in ways not intended.

  • Cosmetic Wear – Fading, minor scratches, or general aesthetic changes that do not affect product functionality.

  • Loss or Theft – This plan does not cover lost or stolen items.


3. Claim Process

  1. Submit a Claim – Email our customer service team at support@thesummithound.com with your order number, photos of the damaged item, and a brief description of how the damage occurred.

  2. Verification – We will review your claim to confirm that the damage qualifies under this plan.

  3. Replacement – If approved, we will send you a replacement item. You are responsible for covering the shipping cost for the replacement.


4. Additional Terms

  • Non-Refundable – The Bully Proof Gear Assurance Plan is a one-time purchase per order and is non-refundable.

  • Replacement Limit – This plan covers one replacement per item per order during the 12-month coverage period.

  • Original Purchase Only – Coverage applies only to the original order and cannot be transferred to future purchases or to another person.

  • Shipping Costs – You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with receiving your replacement.

  • Proof of Damage – Clear photos of the damaged item must be provided for claims to be approved.


5. How to Maximize Your Coverage

To ensure your gear lasts and remains covered:

  • Avoid allowing your dog to chew, bite, or excessively scratch the product.

  • Use the gear as intended (for walking, training, and controlling your dog—not for tying out or unsupervised use).

  • Store in a dry, clean environment when not in use.


6. Company Discretion

We reserve the right to deny any claim that shows evidence of:

  • Intentional damage

  • Abuse of the warranty program

  • Misrepresentation of product use or damage cause
